Thank heaven for Coffee

Coffee and tea are very important in my life. I would not function without them, especially when Lincoln decides he is nocturnal. A couple of years ago I made the best decision of my life to sell coffee and tea, lets face it we all know someone who drinks either or both.  This coffee has helped me out tremendously. It has this magically stuff called spores and GANODERMA. Which are both considered a higher value than gold in China and the middle east, Because it is sooo good for you. Just by drinking the coffee I have gotten off my blood pressure medicine from having preeclampsia. I am able to stay home with my sweet baby boy by selling it. I also trade my coffee for professional pictures, young living oils and so much more. If you would like to trade for coffee or tea I would love to here about it.   This amazing stuff is called ORGANO GOLD

I am also going to do a special treat for those of you reading my blog. If you can facebook message me or comment on this blog. All you have to do is tell me

1. The benefits of drinking Organo Gold Coffee
2. What product you would like to try
and 3. Why is ganoderma so good for you!!!

Yepp it is that simple plus I will mail you a free Mocha and a free Hot chocolate for participating and getting my name out there. If you buy something off of my website http://whitneystack.myorganogold.com/  I will even mail you a 3rd treat as well. Help me spread the word about this amazing product, and I promise you if you change your coffee, you change your life.

Family Pictures

We got some amazing pictures from Poetic Image Photography. I am so happy for the 4 preview photos I can not wait until I can see the rest of them. Here is a sneak peak of the photos I have seen. It is so easy taken pictures with a baby, they look at you and just smile. I hope it is this easy when he is older. I love getting dolled up and taken pictures. I want my kids to see them when they are older and not just from an old cell phone. Pictures are important. I love Lincoln eating the pumpkin, the pumpkin tasted sooo good he would not smile eating was more interesting. I love being a Mom and I am happy I have Jayce by my side. The bridge was his idea and it turned out awesome. I may have had to drag him a little but they turned out awesome.

I hope you like pumpkin.

Yesterday I cooked a whole pumpkin (Lincoln could fit into the pumpkin). Well it made at least 50 cups. So I froze 1/2 of the pumpkin for Lincolns baby food. Then I was like what do I do with the rest of this pumpkin so I looked threw my recipe books and online and decided to make Pumpkin Bread and Pumpkin Spice Eggnog(non alcoholic), A day of baking is what this Mama needed, not to mention Daddy let me sleep in until noon after being up most of the night with Lincoln.

Pumpkin spice Eggnog
It taste like pumpkin pie in a cup
I took 8 eggs and separated them.
I beat the egg white until frothy, added 1/3 cup sugar and beat until frothy again
In a different bowl I added egg yolks, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 1/4 cup pumpkin puree, 1/2 t Cinnamon, 1/4 t all spice, mix that together. Than I added 3 cup milk, 2 plus a little extra heavy cream, (you can add 2 cup rum or brandy but I am breastfeed so I did not). I folded all of that goodness together than I carefully folded in the egg white into egg yellow mixture. added more cinnamon and it was heaven in a glass.

My pumpkin bread recipe
I cant hand this recipe out because I am still tweaking it. But I am making a few batches for special people in our lives.

Lincoln loves his pumpkin baby food. he always signs more more more. I am happy I can give him a lot and it is healthy.

Jayce has been watching football all day while I bake and taking care of Lincoln. He is a wonderful! I think the Broncos and the Falcons will be in the super bowl!! Mommy and Daddys favorite teams, whatever will Lincoln do?

Pictures and Baby Food

I Love family pictures. I like getting dressed up and having someone take pictures to remember forever. Even if I still have weight to loose from having Lincoln I will be glad I have them someday. Jayce was not impressed but he did it with a smile. Soon there will be cute family, daddy son, mommy son and a lot of Lincoln. They are fall and I am really excited to see them.  There is nothing like waiting until the day of pictures to go shopping for outfits right? Busy Mom. But we all had the same colors on and we got the cutest baby pictures on Lincoln I can embarrass him later in life, Because every Mom does it.

Here is one of many adorable outfits of my guy, just for Daddy!

If I have not said it already I love staying home with my little Lincoln. I get to make baby food that does not have added bad stuff. As I am typing this I am making Pumpkin. My house smells wonderful with cooked pumpkin going on. It was super simple.

PUMPKIN BABY FOOD
I washed the pumpkin in the bathtub because it was big and no hose
I turned my oven on the 350
I cleaned the inside the pumpkin
I separated the seeds for a later roasting
I made my muscle man cut the pumpkin directly in half
I set out the biggest baking sheet I have and laid 1/2 the pumpkin on it
This is the first time I am doing this so the research I have done says 30-45 min whole pumpkin
but since I bought a pumpkin big enough for Lincoln to fit into I did 1/2 and am checking on it in 30.
I then peeling the skin off (super easy) and put the pumpkin goodness in my magic bullet add water and made baby food. I put some in my fridge and I put the rest in breast milk freezer bags. (I know they are freezer safe and small.

Avocado baby food
I cut the avocado in half, take the pit out
clean the goodness out of it and just mashed it with a fork until no lumps and really mushy.
Lincoln hates Avocado, I think it is because Momma hate it for nine months. We will try again in the near future.

Banana Baby Food,
Lincolns Favorite
I peel a banana and in a bowl then mush it with a fork until baby food consistently, Lincoln will eat a 1/2 of a banana in 5 min and want more so he gets Mommas milk. His Favorite.

Carrot baby Food
I peel and cut both ends off, chop in pieces,
I just do it depending on what pot I am using.
boil until super tender (until you can break with a plastic fork)
Put in magic bullet and away we go, I either add more water or breast milk to make it baby food ready.

Mashed Potatoes,
Everyone knows how to make mashed potatoes with no skin
so I do that and before I mash I add breast  milk and make baby food.

All of these are super easy and healthy and can be stored in freezer in breast milk storage bags.  When I wont to reheat I turn on my electric tea pot and then sit the bag in hot water because the microwave isn't good for you either!!!

Have a good night

xoxo Whitney

Staying at Home with Little Man

I can not believe that people say staying at home is easy. Yes it is incredible however there are days when I don't get lunch made, dinner on the table, errands ran or even a shower because my little man doesn't feel good and wants to be held. I can not let him cry it out it breaks my heart. I tend to my son when he cries. Someone told me it is smothering, but I say it is tending to my son and giving him the secure factor that if something is wrong Mom will be there.

I would not trade staying home for anything. I get to experience all of Lincolns milestones and have dinner on the table for working Daddy almost every night. The crock pot and the barbeque are my favorite. The crock pot I can get ready the night before when Daddy is holding little man or I can do it during the morning nap and it is ready when Daddy comes home. I like the barbeque because it is fast, when it is 4 o'clock and I realize I could nothing accomplished all day I can pull out burgers and a veggie and it takes a short amount of time. All other meals I have some ready the night before and pop in oven when it is time. I try really hard to not eat fast food. I have eaten fast food about once a month or on road trips. I still need to loose baby weight. loosing 20 pounds in a month is good but I still have a lot to go.  Any suggestions Mama's?

Does anyone else make homemade wipes?

I take 10 minutes every week and make wipes, they are healthy, I know what does into them. They do not have scary recalls that there is a bad chemical in them. It is simple I just use containers with a lid cut viva paper towels in half.
Grab a small pot, put 2/3 cup water and let it boil.
than add 2 tablespoons baby oil, and 2 tablespoons baby soap(I use different ones for scent)
4 drops lavender oil, 5 drops gentle baby oil (young living brand)
mix together over heat and pour over paper towels.
Cover for 5 minutes, than turn over for 5 minutes.
Than turn back over and remove the cardboard tube. (don't do this before it or it a mess)
Than they are ready to use when cool and smell wonderful.

I hope everyone is enjoying their S's Season. I love sweatshirt, smores, stroller-rides, and snuggles.. I am loving mine!!
Tomorrow's Adventure is homemade baby food, that is healthy for my baby.
